Subaru’s 2026 lineup will look a lot different and cost just a bit more than last year, despite several models maintaining their 2025 MSRPs. Destination charges are increasing for the upcoming model year, making many of the automaker’s cars slightly more expensive than before. However, others receive substantial price increases.

The 2026 BRZ loses its base model and is now $2,675 more to start—the affordable sports car barely exists anymore. The Impreza also lost its entry-level trim, leaving buyers with fewer affordable options.

While Subaru has released pricing information for most of its lineup, we’re still waiting for details on the Forester Hybrid and WRX, the latter of which has experienced a significant sales decline due to production changes. The 2025 WRX starts at $38,920, and the 2026 could creep even closer to the $40,000 mark.

One model we’re not waiting for pricing on is the Legacy. Subaru has ended production after 36 years and will discontinue the model after 2025. But if you’re interested in any other Subaru model, this is how you will pay for one in 2026.

    2026 Subaru Impreza: $27,790

Subaru has discontinued the base Impreza trim, which has resulted in a significant increase in its starting price. Subaru’s entry-level model now starts at $27,790 for the Sport trim, a $1,125 increase from 2025. It comes standard with 18-inch dark alloy wheels, a sportier suspension, and other goodies.

The Impreza’s standard engine is a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated boxer-four making 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. The Impreza RS, which is $1,125 more expensive than before, starts at $30,690 and features a larger 2.5-liter engine producing 180 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque.

    Trim Price
    Subaru Impreza Sport $27,790
    Subaru Impreza RS $30,690

    2026 Subaru Crosstrek: $28,415

The biggest update to the 2026 Crosstrek is the introduction of a hybrid variant, which pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder boxer engine with an electric motor and a 1.1-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack. The system produces a combined 194 hp and doesn’t interfere with its 8.7 inches of ground clearance.

The new Crosstrek Hybrid starts at $35,415, while the non-hybrid version starts at $28,415. That’s $435 more than 2025, but Subaru’s 2.5-liter boxer is now standard across the lineup, which makes 180 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque.

    Trim Price
    Subaru Crosstrek $28,415
    Subaru Crosstrek Premium $29,415
    Subaru Crosstrek Sport $32,045
    Subaru Crosstrek Limited $34,415
    Subaru Crosstrek Sport Hybrid $35,415
    Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness $35,215
    Subaru Crosstrek Limited Hybrid $36,415

    2026 Subaru Forester: $31,445

The Subaru Forester gains a new Wilderness trim for 2026, which features increased ground clearance, a revised continuously variable transmission, all-terrain tires, and improved off-road angles. Powering the new trim is Subaru’s 2.5-liter boxer engine, producing 180 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque.

The Wilderness slots below the range-topping Forester Limited, starting at $40,745. The entry-level trim is much cheaper, with the MSRP unchanged from last year. The Forester starts at $31,445, which is $30 more than before due to a higher destination charge.

    Trim Price
    Subaru Forester  $31,445
    Subaru Forester Premium $34,835
    Subaru Forester Sport $37,555
    Subaru Forester Limited $39,145
    Subaru Forester Wilderness $39,835
    Subaru Forester Touring $43,045

    2026 Subaru BRZ: $37,055

Subaru will discontinue the BRZ’s base model, increasing the price to $37,055—$2,675 more than it was last year. Now, the entry-level model is the six-speed manual BRZ Limited, which pairs the gearbox with the 2.4-liter boxer engine that makes 228 hp at the rear wheels.

The BRZ Limited and tS maintain the same MSRPs, while Subaru introduces a new, range-topping Series.Yellow for 2026, featuring Sunrise Yellow exterior paint and matte black alloy wheels. The Series Yellow costs over $40,000 to start.

    Trim Price
    Subaru BRZ Limited (MT) $37,055
    Subaru BRZ Limited (AT) $37,905
    Subaru BRZ tS $39,555
    Subaru Series.Yellow $40,555

    2026 Subaru Outback: $36,445

Subaru radically redesigned the Outback for 2026, completing its transformation from a bloated wagon into a proper crossover. The all-new Outback comes at a cost—it’s $5,640 more than the model it replaces, with a starting price of $36,445 for the seventh generation.

There’s now a Wilderness trim available that adds Nappa leather and increased ground clearance. The Outback now tops out with the Touring XT that starts at just under $50,000. The crossover is available with either a 180-hp 2.5-liter boxer engine or a 260-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter engine. All pair with Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT.

    Trim Price
    Subaru Outback Premium $36,445
    Subaru Outback Limited $43,165
    Subaru Outback Limited XT $45,815
    Subaru Outback Wilderness $46,445
    Subaru Outback Touring $46,845
    Subaru Outback Touring XT $49,445

    2026 Subaru Solterra: $39,945

The 2026 Subaru Solterra maintains the same starting MSRP as the 2025 model but receives a significant makeover. The entry-level Solterra Premium produces 233 hp, up from 215, and features a 74.4-kWh battery, an increase from 72.8. The pack delivers 288 miles of range, up from 227.

The Solterra Limited is actually $600 cheaper than before while featuring the same upgrades as the Premium, starting at $36,445. The top Touring XT costs $49,445, with every Solterra featuring all-wheel drive.

    Trim Price
    Subaru Solterra Premium $39,945
    Subaru Solterra Limited $42,845
    Subaru Solterra Limited XT $44,345
    Subaru Solterra Touring XT $47,005

    2026 Subaru Ascent: $42,245

Subaru might build the three-row Ascent in America, but it enters 2026 with a slight price increase. The 2026 Ascent now starts at $42,245 for the Premium trim, up from $41,415. It’s available in both seven- and eight-passenger configurations. The lineup tops out with the Ascent Onyx Edition Touring for $53,445, and only seats seven.

Subaru makes no significant changes to the Ascent, but it does add black exterior accents and black StarTex interior upholstery to the Premium trim, while the Touring receives woodgrain accents. The Ascent features a turbocharged 2.4-liter boxer engine producing 260 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque, which pairs with a CVT.

    Trim Price
    Subaru Ascent Premium  $42,245

Subaru Ascent Limited Bronze Edition $50,445
