Voyah, the premium electric vehicle (EV) unit of Dongfeng Motor, has officially launched the 2026 Dream MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), updating one of its most important models.

Voyah rolled out the model at an event today, offering eight variants including five plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) options and three battery electric vehicle (BEV) options.

The Dream MPV is a seven-seater with a “2+2+3” seating configuration. Its dimensions remain unchanged from its predecessor at 5,315 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a 3,200 mm wheelbase.

The five PHEV variants start at RMB 329,900 ($46,310), RMB 359,900, RMB 359,900, RMB 389,900, and RMB 429,900.

The PHEV lineup includes two Kunpeng editions and three Qiankun editions. The Kunpeng editions feature Voyah’s own Xiaoyao Cockpit 2.0 and Kunpeng smart driving 2.0 systems, while the Qiankun editions incorporate Huawei’s HarmonySpace 5 and Qiankun ADS 4 smart driving system.

These PHEV variants are powered by a 1.5L engine delivering 110 kW maximum power and 220 Nm maximum torque.

They are all-wheel-drive models, offering either a 210-kW front motor paired with a 160-kW rear motor, or a 150-kW front motor combined with a 230-kW rear motor. Both configurations can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

The Dream PHEV offers two battery pack options of 43.2 kWh and 62.5 kWh, delivering CLTC ranges of 235 km and 350 km respectively. With a full tank and fully charged battery, these variants achieve a combined range of 1,411 km or 1,530 km.

The 2026 Dream BEV’s three variants utilize the same powertrain, with front and rear motors delivering maximum outputs of 175 kW and 230 kW respectively, enabling 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds.

They come standard with a 108.7-kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC range of 700 kilometers.

Voyah is a brand launched by Dongfeng in late 2020, with its first model, the Voyah Free, officially launched in China in June 2021.

On May 7, 2022, the Dream MPV was launched in China as Voyah’s second model. On September 19, 2024, Voyah rolled out the previous update for the Dream MPV, introducing Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 system.

Beyond the Free and Dream, Voyah currently offers the Zhuiguang sedan and Zhiyin — known as the Courage in overseas markets.

Voyah delivered 13,505 vehicles in August, marking a 119.38 percent year-on-year increase and an 11.29 percent rise from July, according to data released earlier this month.

From January to August, Voyah delivered 81,768 vehicles, reflecting a 92.18 percent year-on-year growth.

Last month, Dongfeng announced Voyah would list on the Hong Kong stock market via an introduction listing, while Dongfeng will complete its privatization and delisting to reorganize its financing channels.
