The company offers these solid-state units in a range of capacities, from the smallest at 330W output and 241Wh of storage to the largest at 4000W output and 2611Wh of storage capacity. I got to spend some time with the largest unit, the B4000 SST, in order to put…

It has a sharp front splitter, long and sleek headlamps, two air-intake ducts on the hood, scissor doors, and a sleek rear section capped off with an upright spoiler and aggressive-looking diffusers. The starting price of the Hyper SSR is 1.28 million…

The first deliveries of the Rivian R1T began in September 2021, and the electric truck has been around long enough for ownership reviews to pop up. Edmunds bought an R1T Launch Edition a little over a year ago, and its road testers have shared aspects that put a wide grin on their faces, and ones that were annoying. The car buying platform purchased a 2022 Rivian R1T with 20-inch all-terrain tires. It came with a 135-kilowatt-hour battery pack, an EPA-estimated 289-mile range, and a quad motor set-up pushing 835 horsepower and 908 pound-feet of torque. This package cost $76,250 a…
Toyota Corolla Hybrid review, Rivian Max pack efficiency, EV dealership rebate: Today’s Car News
The EV tax credit shifts toward a point-of-sale rebate. Rivian gets more efficiency from a larger battery pack. And do you want a car that offers all-wheel drive and about 50 mpg, for a price under $30,000? A review of the Toyota Corolla Hybrid reminded us that it’s very good. This and more, here at Green Car Reports. The battery pack in Rivian R1S and R1T Max pack electric trucks is smaller than originally planned—and that’s a good thing. Rivian recently disclosed that this pack includes new cells with a higher energy density, allowing the R1S to go 400 miles…
The Toyota Corolla is the bestselling car of all time, and it remains as relevant in the new vehicle market as it ever was. That’s because in terms of value for money, the Corolla still has the market cornered. For around $25,000 you can get a comfortable compact sedan with all-wheel drive and an EPA rating near 50 mpg. If you have those three targets on your shopping list, and you live in an apartment, rent, or deal with a parking situation that doesn’t allow enough charging access, no other model comes close. It’s one of just a handful of…
The federal EV tax credit will shift to a point-of-sale dealership rebate in 2024, giving customers instant access to the credit, the U.S. Treasury Department confirmed Friday in a press release. Under current rules, buyers can’t claim the credit of up to $7,500 for new vehicles and $4,000 for used vehicles until they file their taxes. Effective Jan. 1, 2024, EV buyers will be able to claim their credit at the dealership, a change being implemented as part of the revamping of the EV tax credit under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). “For the first time, the Inflation Reduction Act…
