Ford’s Lightning production woes may have hit another hurdle. The automaker revealed plans Friday to temporarily trim one of three shifts at its Rouge EV plant in Michigan, where the F-150 Lightning is built. Amid a growing U.S. EV market, both the average price of a Tesla and the automaker’s market share decreased substantially in the third quarter of 2023, new data from Kelley Blue Book shows.
